Training
plans are a very important part of a Quality Management System (QMS).
It is necessary to document the experience, education and training
of all employees. This can be through detailed Human Resource records,
which would include an employees resume and training plan
or it can include a much more inclusive center of information.
Your organization will want to provide equal training to employees
while still basing training on an individuals experience level.
A well-tuned organization will have training courses available for
every job function to allow new employees to receive equal and complete
training by qualified instructors within the organization rather
than allowing new employees to be taught, ad-lib by any available
veteran employee.
Training plans need to be constantly updated and an individual's
training should always be evaluated. Ensuring that employees remain
challenged, focused and dedicated to their job will ensure better
overall quality within your organization.
